Summary

Much less work has been done on the domestically oriented small thermal storage system than on the mechanism of phase change and large ice storage systems. The article describes a test to study different equipment options and their matching and practical running with a phase change thermal storage material. The operating data are analysed to produce an evaluation of the system.
