Experimental research on vapour pressure and surface tension of HFC32.

Author(s) : ZHU M. S., LI J., LU C. X.

Summary

Data on vapour pressure of R32 in the temperature range of 9 to 74 deg C are presented in the paper. The temperature uncertainty is more or less 10 milliK, and the pressure uncertainty is more or less 508 pascals. The relative and absolute deviation between the experimental data and McLinden's correlation are also shown. A vapour pressure equation for R32 is proposed, with a root mean square deviation of 0.26%. Data on the surface tension of R32 were also obtained, using the differential capillary rise technique from -5 to 61 deg C.
