Summary

A continuous heat recovery adsorption refrigerator using activated carbon-methanol has been developed. In this system, the heat source used to drive the adsorption system can be controlled at a temperature from 60 °C to 110 °C, and the evaporating temperature can also be controlled at any requested value from 0 °C to 15 °C. To realize the operation performance of the system, many sensors of temperature, pressure and flow rate are installed in the adsorbers, the condenser and the evaporator. Experiments and measurement results are studied. Conclusions are drawn.
