Summary

THE RESULTS PRESENTED WERE OBTAINED ON A PILOT-SCALE COOLING MACHINE USING A SOLID-GAS REACTION. THE EXPERIMENTS HAVE BEEN CARRIED OUT MAINLY TO STUDY DIFFERENT REFRIGERATION SYSTEMS AND TO FIND THE BEST AUTOMATIC SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLING THE RUN OF THE MACHINE. THE OBTAINED RESULTS, ESPECIALLY THOSE CONCERNING THE ENERGETIC DATA, ARE SATISFYING AND HAVE ALLOWED THE DESIGN OF A 6 KILOWATTS PROTOTYPE.
