Summary

The authors developed new high temperature phase change materials used in the cold-storage air-conditioning system to save energy, and measured melting heat of new high temperature phase change materials with DSC (differential scanning calorimeter). Three groups of DSC melting curve were obtained. The new cool storage material was found by thermal analysis. The experimental results show that the melting heat of the new phase material is about 270 kJ/kg when melting temperature is about 7.8°C, and it is a kind of high-efficient cold-medium with good developmental prospect used in the cold-storage air-conditioning system.
