Summary
The authors present an experimental study on plant using ammonia convective boiling in vertical tubes in a loop with thermosiphon-induced circulation under low pressures, heat and mass flow conditions. A few correlations for heat transfer, void fraction and pressure loss have been established using experimental data, and a sensitivity study has also been developed.
