Summary
AN ADSORPTION-EXPANSION-DESORPTION METHOD IS PRESENTED FOR SEPARATING MULTICOMPONENT GAS MIXTURES TO PRODUCE 2 OR MORE KINDS OF HIGH-PURITY COMPONENTS. THE PRINCIPLE OF PURIFYING IN THE ADSORBED PHASE AT THE FINAL STAGE OF EXPANSION-DESORPTION IS MATHEMATICALLY ANALYSED. THIS PAPER ALSO SHOWS THE PRIMARY EXPERIMENTAL RESULTS OF HIGH-PURITY HYDROGEN AND METHANE PRODUCTION AT LABORATORY SCALE FROM THE BLEED-OFF GAS OF AN ETHYLENE PLANT, COMPARING EXPERIMENTAL DATA WITH THERORETICAL VALUES.
