The results can be summarized as follows: the performance of a chilled ceiling element depends not only on the element itself, but also on its combination with the ceiling; it is very important to define a rule for determining the active areas of chilled ceilings; measurements in accordance with Nordtest give higher performance data compared with the results of the DIN-method for all tested ceilings.
