Summary

VUB Bank is the owner of 90 buildings and the lessee of 110 premises. Facility management is one of the most effective tools by which to decrease energy consumption in the operation of the buildings and to provide the optimal indoor working environment for employees. We have developed methods in order to regularly inspect the HVAC system, how to satisfy people with the indoor environment in the premises. The paper will present how important the phase of operation of bank premises from the point of energy consumption is and also the indoor environment based on regular activities included in the facility management process.
