Summary

High frequency cycle is required for magnetic refrigerator to have enough power density for market products. High frequency magnetic refrigeration cycle requires short duration for temperature change of magnetocaloric material caused by magnetocaloric effect. We measured temperature change of La(Fe0.88Si0.12)13 plate caused by magnetocaloric effect and revealed the delay for the material temperature change from the magnetic field change is less than 2ms.
