THERMAL STORAGE, USING A GLYCOL CIRCUIT FOR ICE BUILD-UP AND LOAD, PERMITS THE USE OF SEPARATE TANKS AT DIFFERENT LEVELS, SINCE THEY ARE NOT UNDER PRESSURE. THE FLEXIBILITY OF THIS ARRANGEMENT MAY SAVE BUILDING COSTS. OWNING COST ASSESSMENT IS VERY COMPLEX, AND NEEDS TO BE SOLVED BY COMPUTER. COMPARISON COSTS ARE GIVEN. A.R.T.
