A NEW PRESSURE NITROGEN AND LOW PRESSURE OXYGEN PRODUCTION PROCESS IS CHARACTERIZED BY A TWO-STAGE RECTIFICATION SYSTEM AND AN INTEGRATED AIR COOLING CYCLE. THE PROCESS MAKES IT POSSIBLE TO VARY, WITHIN RATHER WIDE LIMITS, THE PERCENTAGE OF GASEOUS AND LIQUEFIED PRODUCTS THANKS TO A FLEXIBLE CONTROL SYSTEM. THE EFFICIENCY OF THE EXPANSION TURBINE AND ITS RELIABILITY MAKE THE SYSTEM VERY USEFUL FOR THE MICRO-ELECTRONIC INDUSTRY.
