Summary
This study, the performance simulation and experiments on a micro-channel parallel flow evaporator were conducted. The predictions by the simulation model developed agree well with the experimental data with the error range of plus or minus10%. The performances of two different refrigerant flow configuration evaporators were compared. The simulation and experiment results show that the thermal and hydraulic performances of the designed evaporator with two flow paths was better than that with four flow paths.
