Fluorocarbon vapour compression technology status.
Author(s) : SUNDARESAN S. G.
Summary
The article presents tables allowing an update on: cold production through vapor compression with the new CFC-alternative fluids; the new compressor types (particularly scroll); and new oils. Enhanced performances are reported on, along with those that can be expected in the future while bearing in mind the expected development in this conventional technology.
