FOAM BLOWING AGENT EMISSIONS.

Summary

THE METHODOLOGY SUMMARIZED IN THE PAPER HAS BEEN USED TO ESTIMATE THE AVERAGE R11 AND R141B CONCENTRATIONS IN A HOUSE INSULATED WITH POLYISOCYANURATE FOAM SHEATHING. THE LONG TERM 20 YEAR AVERAGE EXPOSURE CONCENTRATION IS TYPICALLY LESS THAN 7 PPB FOR BOTH R11 AND R141B. THIS VERY LOW POTENTIAL EXPOSURE CONCENTRATION IS ESTIMATED USING CONSERVATIVE ASSUMPTIONS AND IN ALL LIKELIHOOD REPRESENTS AN OVERESTIMATE OF THE EXPOSURE CONCENTRATION.
