Forced convective boiling of hydrocarbon mixtures.

Summary

The paper describes a model for evaporation of hydrocarbon mixtures in vertical pipes, the evaporation taking place mainly in the forced convective (annual flow) region where nucleate boiling is expected to be greatly suppressed. The model takes account of the detailed processes of droplet entrainment and deposition.
