Summary
The fourth Amendment to the Energy Efficiency Regulations was approved by the Special Committee of Council on December 16, 1998. It specifies energy efficiency standards and other regulatory requirements for the following new products: dehumidifiers, ice-makers, large air-conditioners, condensing units and heat pumps, packaged terminal air-conditioners and heat pumps, three-phase single package central air conditioners and package heat pumps, three-phase split-system central air conditioners and heat pumps.
