Summary
COMPARISON OF THE CHEMICAL COMPOSITION, WATER AND URONIC ACID CONTENTS, PROTEOGLYCANE SYNTHESIS RATE, THE MINERALISATION-OSSIFICATION STATUS, THE INTEGRITY OF THE MATRIX, THE BIOLOGICAL ACTIVITY AS TRANSPLANT INDUCING THE FORMATION OF BONE, OF CARTILAGINOUS FETAL BONES STORED BY DEEP-FREEZING AND OF FRESH BONES. RADIOGRAPHS WERE MADE DURING THE WHOLE TRANSPLANTATION PERIOD AND HISTOLOGICAL SECTIONS WERE OBSERVED AFTER DEATH.
