Summary

THE INFLUENCE OF STORAGE TIMES (1, 3, 7, 28, 90 AND 365 DAYS) AND TEMPERATURES 253, 203 AND 77 K (-20, -70 AND -196 DEG C), AS ALSO THE APPLICATION OF ACRYOPROTECTANT (20% HUMAN ALBUMINE), WERE STUDIED ON RABBITS WHOSE ALLOGENEIC BONES HAD BEEN TRANSPLANTED. NONE OF THE IMPLANTS REVEALED ANY SERIOUS REJECTIONS AND IN VITRO INVESTIGATIONS WITH TISSUE CULTURE CONFIRM THESE RESULTS. THEBEST RESULTS WERE OBTAINED AT A TEMPERATURE OF 203 K OVER 3 MONTHS STORAGE WITHOUT USING A CRYOPROTECTANT.
