There is a continuing demand for laboratory facilities, mainly in the pharmaceutical industry. Design requirements will become more stringent, to comply with legislation. New facilities need close co-operation between client and design team. A prediction of future requirements and expenditure is made on the basis of the possible numbers of fume cupboards. A.R.T.
