GASEOUS FLOW-RATE MEASUREMENT IN AN ABSORBING-DIFFUSING SYSTEM (QUANTITATIVE IN SITU UV SPECTROSCOPY).

DETERMINATION DU DEBIT GAZEUX D'UN SYSTEME A ABSORPTION-DIFFUSION PAR SPECTROSCOPIE UV QUANTITATIVE.

Author(s) : GALAIS A., CLODIC D.

Summary

DETAILED DESCRIPTIONOF THERMODYNAMIC PROPERTIES OF AN ABSORBING-DIFFUSING SYSTEM REQUIRES TO KNOW THE COMPOSITION OF GASEOUS AND LIQUID PHASES. THIS PAPER PRESENTS IN SITU MEASUREMENTS OF AMMONIA MOLAR FRACTION IN GASEOUS PHASE. TWO POINTS OF THE ABSORBERARE MEASURED (RICH AND POOR COMPOSITION). THE QUANTITATIVE IN SITU UV SPECTROSCOPY TECHNIQUE IS DESCRIBED AS WELL AS THE CALIBRATION PROCEDURE AND SOME MEASUREMENT EXAMPLES. THERMODYNAMIC MODELLING OF THE OPERATING SYSTEM IS ALSO PRESENTED.
