Summary
We propose the water - 1,4-dioxane mixture as a new refrigerant of the absorption refrigerator. By optimizing the molar fraction of this refrigerant, the freezing point of it reaches -15 °C. We demonstrate the generation of the below zero degree temperature with moderate stability by using the hand-made absorption refrigerator based on the glass flask cells. This result gives us the possibility of usage for the cold storage system.
