Author(s) : TAYLOR P.
Type of article: Article, Case study
Summary
At the Widex headquarters located north of Copenhagen, an aquifer thermal energy storage system is used to heat and cool the 37 000 m² building, using little energy. Indeed, over the course of a year, a windmill and solar cells help the building produce more energy than it consumes. The control system comprises 50 PCs, each responsible for a major piece of equipment.
