Summary

These coefficients were measured at the surface of different-sized cylinders, for air velocities between 0.5 and 2.0 m per second and turbulent air flow of 12%. Experimental measurements are compared to data obtained by a mathematical model. Effects of air flow characteristics are more important than those related to the cylinder shape. Results are analyzed to improve cooling or air drying processes.
