Summary
The authors analyse the heat and mass transfer process on the surface of a finned-air cooler in wet cooling conditions. They consider that the process involved where wet air is cooled and dehumidified on the surface of a finned-air cooler does not abide by Lewis' analogy. They deduce the cooling capability and fin efficiency under wet cooling conditions. The results of calculations show that moisture condensation on the fin surface can enhance cooling capability and efficiency.
