[In Dutch. / En néerlandais.]

Summary
HEAT EXCHANGERS DETERMINE THE ECONOMICAL VALUE OF A REFRIGERATION PLANT. THEY WILL PLAY AN INCREASINGLY IMPORTANT ROLE IN REFRIGERATION SINCE THE DEVELOPMENT OF COMPRESSORS WITH BETTER EFFICIENCIES IS NOT TO BE EXPECTED. THE ABUSE OF TYPE, SIZE OR CONSTRUCTION OF HEAT EXCHANGERS MAY DOUBLE THE ENERGY CONSUMPTION OF ALL KINDS OF REFRIGERATION PLANT. BETTER HEAT EXCHANGERS AND THEUSE OF HEAT EXCHANGERS WHERE THEY ARE NOT GENERALLY USED NOW WILL SAVE UP TO 1/4 OF THE ENERGY CONSUMED BY WELL DESIGNED INSTALLATIONS OF TODAY TO THE BENEFIT OF SUPPLIERS AND USERS.
