Summary
The plant produces refused derived fuel. The Hokkaido Heating and Cooling Sector uses coal, with difficulties. It came to use refuse derived fuel in order to have a more reliable service. The paper outlines the system and the operational result of the heat production plant constructed in 1991, which enables to make use of municipal refuse for regional energy.
