Summary

THE COP AND HEAT-FLOW TENDENCIES IN A HEAT PUMP ARE DETERMINED BY THE HEATING UP OF THE WARM LIQUID, THE COOLING OF THE COLD LIQUID, AND BY THE EXERGY EFFICIENCY OF THE HEAT THE EXERGY EFFICIENCY INCLUDES ALL EXERGY LOSSES IN THE HEAT PUMP CYCLE, INCLUDING LOSSES OCCURRING FROM THE TEMPERATURE DIFFERENCE WHEN LIQUIDS ARE COOLED DOWN AND HEATED UP.
