Heat pump renaissance: a new generation.
[In German. / En allemand.]

Type of article: Article
Summary
A renaissance for heat pumps requires a new generation of equipment, the components of which are described. Not only reduced heat loads but also new radiators make possible heating networks that operate at even lower temperatures than conventional low-temperature heating systems. Economical use of higher temperature heat sources is possible through waste heat collection and distribution networks. Integrated energy systems afford new opportunities for heat pumps. More advanced and CFC-free heat pumps are needed.
