Summary

DURING THE LAST 4-5 YEARS THERE HAS BEEN INSTALLED A LARGE NUMBER OF HEAT PUMPS IN GREENHOUSES IN NORWAY. THIS MAINLY INCLUDES TWO DIFFERENT HEAT PUMP SYSTEMS: WATER-TO-WATER HEAT PUMPS (ABOUT 15 HEAT PUMPS HAVE BEEN INSTALLED, MOST OF THEM IN CENTRAL HEATING PLANT IN ORDER TO PROVIDE HEAT TO SEVERAL GREENHOUSES) ; AIR-TO-AIR HEAT PUMPS (MORE THAN 100 SMALL HEAT PUMPS HAVE BEEN INSTALLED, WITH MAINLY ONE OR TWO UNITS IN EACH GREENHOUSE).
