Heat recovery and moisture transfer: raising efficiency thanks to a rotary wheel.
Warmeteterugwinning en vochtoverdracht: meer rendement door warmtewiel.
Type of article: Article, Case study
Summary
The Ned-Air RotorLine XT AHU series provide a high heat recovery efficiency rate (80%) by the use of an XT thermal wheel that exchanges both sensible and latent heat (moist). These compact units are completely based upon the "plug and play" principle, since the DX cooling system and all necessary controls are integrated within the unit. Besides saving energy, these units will also drastically reduce installing time. Choosing a plug & play type of AHU, the installer does not have to execute any kind of cooling technical or control technical activities at the location of the unit, and does not have to commission all the above by separate companies. Even in the pre-installing stage of a project time is being saved since the installer/contractor only has to deal with one company and one quotation instead of the usual three.
