Summary

The heat rejected from the condenser can be used for heating domestic water. In order to enable recovery, the author suggests some improvements, particularly in terms of the design and operation of heat pumps used to heat water and of refrigerating systems used to lower the temperature of the cold source. Until now, in this type of plant, the heat rejected at condenser level was considered as lost.
