Summary
A test installation and conventional correlations were used to calculate what heat transfer coefficients could be obtained using CO2 at high pressures and small diameters at temperatures under the pseudo-critical range. Above this range the coefficient was as high as 100% over the calculated valves. Ordinary correlations gave satisfactory pressure-drop valves.
