Summary
The results of the authors' thermal experimental investigations of ice slurry flow (water solution 10.6% of ethanol) through horizontal pipes are presented in this paper. The investigations covered the effects of the average velocity, ice mass concentration, rheological properties as well as phase change effects on heat transfer coefficient. The criterial equations for local values of heat transfer coefficient for laminar and turbulent flow of ice slurry in pipes have been presented.
