Summary

The authors' experimental data on the resistance of binary ice flow of 10.6% concentration of ethanol have been presented. The calculation approaches to flow resistance of binary ice in tubes have been experimentally verified. The effect of the overcoming of flow resistance of carrying liquid over binary ice has been indicated and explained in the paper. An approach for estimation of the recommended flow velocity and ice concentration that guaranteed homogeneous flow and low flow resistance has been proposed. The binary ice flow patterns have been also discussed, along with possibility of phase segregation in the accumulation vessel. The paper is illustrated with graphical interpretations of the authors' investigation results.
