Summary
THIS WORK PRESENTS EXPERIMENTAL INFORMATION FOR SINGLE-PHASE FORCED CONVECTION IN DOUBLE PIPE HEAT EXCHANGERS CONTAINING A TWO-DIMENSIONAL HELICAL FIN ROUGHNESS ON THE OUTER SURFACE OF THE INNER TUBE. FLOW VISUALIZATION WAS MADE AND THE HEAT TRANSFER PERFORMANCE IS CALCULATED AND COMPARISONS OF THESE RESULTS WITH THOSE OF SMOOTH TUBES AT THE SAME ASPECT RATIO ARE ALSO DISCUSSED.
