Heat transfer data of numerous investigators for uniformly-heated liquid pools of water, ethanol, methanol, Dowtherm-A and R113 in small cylindrical enclosures were complied, sorted and correlated in the following heat transfer regimes: (a) natural convection; (b) nucleate boiling; and (c) combined convection.
