Heteroazeotropy and analytical models for phase equilibria.
Author(s) : WISNIAK J., SEGURA H.
Type of article: Article
Summary
Heteroazeotropy in binary systems provides a physical relation between vapour-liquid and liquid-liquid in a single point where three phases, two immiscible liquids of different composition and a vapour phase, coexist. Criteria for localization of the vapour phase composition in heteroazeotropic points for nonassociating and low-pressure binary systems are established.
