High delta-T chilled water systems.
Author(s) : SIMHA R. V.
Type of article: Article, Case study
Summary
Conventional chilled water systems work on a delta T of about 5 °C. This is raised to 9-10 °C in high delta-T systems. The big advantage is, of course, the reduction in water flow rate/ton, which can only be achieved by careful selection of cooling coils and control valves. How to go about addressing these issues is covered in this article.
