High efficiency compact heat exchanger.
Author(s) : IVAN G.
Type of article: Article
Summary
The author analyses the intensification of heat transfer by extending the exchanging surfaces which utilize elements with acicluar form obtained with a mechanical processing the pipe wall. This method provides perfect contact between the acicular element and the wall of the heat exchange pipe. The analysis of geometric and thermodynamic conditions shows new methods of heat transfer intensification at the interface of cooling agent-heat exchange surface and secondary agent-heat exchange surface.
