While the use of heat pumps in single family buildings is widespread and has been extensively analysed, their application in the sector of multi-family buildings is still scarce. However, the use of energy efficient heating technologies especially in the field of existing multi-family buildings is crucial in order to realize European and national energy and emissions reduction targets.
