HVAC design for schools.

Summary

Educational buildings are now used for a wider range of activities and for longer times. The original HVAC systems may not satisfy these needs. The design engineer must be aware of the new requirements and work with the user to determine how to improve the plant to give maximum flexibility, combined with economy of cost and maintenance. New systems and control methods need to be explained to the user. Videotapes are useful to remind operators of the essential features of the equipment. A.R.T.
