Summary

THE RESULTS OF THE AUTHORS TESTIFY TO THE FACT THAT CRYOPROTECTIVE MEDIA, BASED ON GLYCEROL AND 1,2-PROPANEDIOL, ARE EFFECTIVE IN HYPOTHERMAL STORAGE OF THAWED ERYTHROCYTES. APPLICATION OF THE ABOVE-MENTIONED MEDIA MAKES ITPOSSIBLE TO PROLONG TERMS OF CELL VIABILITY AT 277 K (4 DEG C) AFTER CRYOPRESERVATION FROM A FEW DAYS TO SEVERAL WEEKS. THE PAPER DEALS WITH THE COMPARATIVE INVESTIGATION OF THE SAFETY OF STRUCTURE-FUNCTIONAL PROPERTIES OF ERYTHROCYTES IN THE PROCESS OF THEIR HYPOTHERMAL STORAGE IN MEDIA ON THE BASIS OF 1,2-PROPANEDIOL AND GLYCEROL.
