Summary

THE PAPER DEALS WITH SURFACE TEMPERATURE MEASUREMENTS UNDER THE CONDITIONS GENERALLY MET IN HUMAN ENVIRONMENT PROBLEMS. IT IS BOTH EXPERIMENTAL AND NUMERICAL. IT CONSISTS IN A THOROUGH ANALYSIS OF THE DISTURBANCES CREATED BY MEASURING A SURFACE TEMPERATURE WITH A THERMOCOUPLE STUCK ON THE SURFACE, UNDER DIFFERENT HEAT EXCHANGE CONDITIONS. A VERY PRECISE EXPERIMENTAL SET-UP, WITH WELL-DEFINED BOUNDARY CONDITIONS, AND A VERY RELIABLE NUMERICAL CODE COULD ALLOW TO CHECK THE VALUES OF THE THERMOPHYSICAL PARAMETERS OF THE SYSTEM AND TO IDENTIFY THE WEAK DISTURBANCE CREATED BY THE THERMOCOUPLES AS WELL AS THE MEASUREMENT ERROR OF THE THERMOCOUPLE.
