Summary
Even with the allowance for all the imponderables, the results of this experiment suggest that a doubling of atmospheric CO2 concentration could result in an increase of 10 percent to 17 percent in the overall energy consumption for this model. The results also suggest that an increase of some 15 percent in refrigeration capacity would be required to meet peak cooling requirements.
