Implementation of ejector thermocompression in refrigerating systems and heat pumps.

Number: pap. n. 250

Author(s) : SAREVSKI M., SAREVSKI V.

Summary

The thermal, flow and performance characteristics of ejectors are analyzed in this paper. A calculating procedure for estimation of the ejector main parameters is presented. The possibilities of implementation of two phase ejectors in the compressor refrigeration systems and heat pumps working with natural refrigerants are described, and increment of the energy efficiency of these systems is estimated. By using ejector thermocompression in industrial heat pump systems, the waste heat is transformed to a higher temperature level, convenient for its usage in the thermal processes. Ejector thermocompression heat pumps can be optimally applied in various industrial concentrating plants. Theoretical and experimental results of the investigations on an experimental grape vacuum concentrator and on an industrial NaOH concentrator are presented. Significant increment of energy efficiency can be achieved by optimal implementation of the ejector thermocompression in the thermal concentrating plants.
