Improvement of evaporator efficiency.
Optimalisatie van verdamperinspuiting.

Type of article: Article
Summary
Improvement in plant efficiency can be realized by optimal usage of the evaporator surface. In this respect, adjustment of the thermostatic expansion valve under part load conditions is decisive. Electronic expansion valves offer a wide range of controls, each with their own specifications. The article describes the demands on the superheat setting of these controls to be achieved. Three different control strategies are tested and worked out to show the differences in dynamic behaviour and efficiency improvement and thereby the decrease in power consumption.
