In-tube heat transfer characteristics of refrigerant mixtures of HFC32-134a and HFC32-125-134a.

Author(s) : TORIKOSHI K., EBISU T.

Summary

The experiments were performed for an inner grooved horizontal tube utilized in the actual heat exchangers of air-conditioning machines for residential use with various compositions of R32 and R125. The evaporation heat transfer coefficients for R32-R134a (30-70% by weight) and R32-R125-R134a (23-25-52% by weight) became lower compared with that for a pure R22 at the same mass flux. Similarly, the condensation heat transfer results for both the refrigerant mixtures were found to be lower than that for R22.
