Summary

RESULTS ARE DESCRIBED OF TESTS ON AN AUTONOMOUS FREEZER TRAWLER, THE < GENERAL HLEBNIKOV >, UNDER THE CONDITIONS OF A FISHING CROSSING IN THE SOUTH-EASTERN PART OF THE PACIFIC OCEAN, AND WITH A SEAWATER TEMPERATURE FROM 285 TO 293 K (12 TO 20 DEG C). FIFTY TONS PER DAY OF FISH WERE FROZEN WITH THE FREEZING PLANT. RELATIONS WERE DETERMINED, OF THE REAL RELATIVE ENERGY CONSUMPTION WITH RESPECT TO THE QUANTITY OF FISH FROZEN WITHIN 24 HOURS. THE RESULTS CONFIRMED THE GENERAL CONCLUSIONS OF THE THEORETICAL ANALYSIS AND OF THE MODELLING PRESENTED BY THE AUTHORS IN A PREVIOUS PUBLICATION. C.C.
