Summary
Indoor concentration of pollutants (especially carbon oxide, nitrogen oxide, formaldehyde and radon) as well as of pathogenic and irritant agents can exist. Indoor pollution also leads to negative consequences for the living conditions of the inhabitants. The author examines the main strategies to control indoor pollution referring to the latest regulations and stressing the importance of good ventilation.
